Welcome to St Stephen's Parish Website

The Information contained in this and subsequent Pages will tell the story of Saint Stephen's Roman Catholic Parish, which began in 1935. The parish of St. Stephen is in the Diocese of Salford. Parishioners pray every day for "Benedict" our Pope, and "Terence" our Bishop. The present Church stands at the junction of Chappell Road & Medlock Street in Droylsden. It was built in 1958. Mass was first said for Parishioners of St. Stephen at The Co-op Building on Manchester Road.
